 Come and enjoy the MALDIVES on board Maldivian Dream Safari Boat, the best way to discover this exotic paradise, a must for all divers!!!

A safari boat trips means arriving to the best dive spots on the different atolls en route.Without the luxe of the resort but very comfortable on board Maldivian Dream,with double cabins,wich are daily cleaned;bathroom towels are provided (BUT NOT SEA TOWELS,pls bring them with you),bed sheets and towels are changed mid trip by our staff,due to the minimum stock we can carry.

Travel Documents
Passport with a validity of 6 months is the only requirement to enter the Maldives, being issued with a free 30day VISA at the airport. Diving certification, log book and dive insurance for divers.

Diving
Most dives in Maldives are drift dives, are guided by a professional qualified divemaster, and are scorted from surface by a dive boat wich will pick up divers as soon as they reach surface.

Diving equipment
Air and NITROX (free of charge) , tanks (12&15liters INT/DIN) and weights are included.Divers must bring their own dive gear, or could rent on board (on request), with DIVE COMPUTER mandatory as well DIVE TORCHES (for night dives). A 3mm long suit is the best option, never thicker, shorties and lycras OK.

Water temperature
A mild range from 27º in November to 30º in April .

Photography
Don't forget your camera, both above and underwater, strongle reccomended to carry plenty of battery (or rechargables) and memory cards, plus CD/DVD's or even better a pen-drive/hard disk to download the group photos of the week from the on board PC wich you can use anytime during the trip, downloading, storing and sharing files.

Fishing
Local equipment available on board;no problem to bring your fishing gear and catch dinner!

Health
No vaccinations needed in Maldives, better drink bottled water, prevent motion sickness and carry sun protection lotion and sunglasses.

Currency
US dollars accepted.Credit cards only in Resorts and Male. EURO accepted but often exchange rates lower than in Europe banks.

FORBIDDEN
Import of alcohol, pork, spear guns, nets, pornography and drugs, as well as any kind of nudism/top less.

WEATHER IN MALDIVES
As in many parts of the world weather changes here, but generally we have 2 "monsoons" (seasons), IRUVAI (nov-april) north east winds and currents, and HULANGHU (may to october) with south west winds and currents.

Better visibility during the Iruvai period, but always affected by the tides that carry water in-out the atolls.
