OCTOPUS Dive Safari

During the season 2011-2012 we schedule weekly trips from October  to May 2011, covering the best dive spots on the country on our different routes: Classic, South, Deep South, and Classic+North.

Best dive sites on diferent routes will be covered: the Classic route with North and South Male Atoll, Rasdhoo and Ari; the Classic+North route diving north Male, Baa and north side of Ari; the South route with North and South Male, Felidhoo, Meemu and south Ari; and the Deep South 4 week expedition from Male to Addu and back (possibility to join this trip weekly through the local airport network),this season on double rotation February and March.

Marilen & Marc will be leading the safaris; after 15 years in Maldives, we know the country, culture, people, language and of course many dive sites around the atolls.

White, grey and even hammerhead sharks encounters, manta cleaning stations, schools of eagle rays, abundant coral reef fish, muray eels, tuna, groupers, jacks, turtles ... are common during our trips; all togheter would make of them an unforgettable diving experience… during previous seasons we had the chance to snorkel and dive with many whale sharks, the biggest fish in the ocean !!!

And to make you discover not only the rich diving, we visit local fisherman islands to see the maldivian way of living, bath on a desert beach or have a cocktail on one of the nearly 100 resorts of the archipielago.

After a day of diving, activities on board go from enjoying slide shows, movies, uw photography or biology talks, table games, music and/or simply relax on one of the decks of the boat watching the sunset or enjoying on our Jacuzzi.
